Finding the right job -- one that fits your personality, career goals, talents, skills, training, and your schedule -- can be a difficult, time consuming and stressful process.

Fortunately, you don't have to go through it alone. Durkee Personnel has hundreds of part-time, full-time temporary and permanent positions in many of the region's most reputable firms.

We specialize in office/administrative and light industrial employment, and many of our positions lead to rewarding full-time careers.

You're In Good Company

The advantages of being a Durkee Personnel temporary employee are many.

It's never boring. Because you get to work in different business environments, you will improve your skills, meet new people, and broaden your experience. You can develop a more impressive resume. And many temporary jobs eventually become permanent.

You can enjoy the freedom of a flexible schedule, allowing you to work when you want to.

We take the time to evaluate your needs and abilities, and offer the skills training you need to succeed.

And finally, we match your assignments to your skills, aptitudes, needs, and aspirations. We want to make sure you enjoy what you're doing, and are successful in meeting your goals.

Because your success is our success.

What It's Like To Be A Durkee Employee

Your Responsibilities

When businesses need extra help -- because their regular employees are absent, or to complete a special project -- it's our job to provide that help with qualified people like you.

Once you have made a commitment to an assignment, it is your job to complete it in a professional manner. If you are unable to meet your commitment for any reason, you must contact us immediately.

Compensation

Your weekly pay is based on the actual hours you work and the agreed rate of pay for each assignment. The only required deductions are F.I.C.A. and Federal Withholding.

In order to be paid, you must complete and sign a weekly time ticket, and the client company must authorize the hours worked on the ticket.

The completed ticket should be returned to our office no later than the following Monday for the previous work week. Pay day is Friday. If your check is not picked up by 5:00 p.m., it will be mailed.

Insurance & Benefits

You are covered for Workers' Compensation, Unemployment, and Liability insurance while on the job. You are also entitled to benefits such as free computer training, medical insurance, paid vacations, and referral bonuses.

Permanent Employment

If you are offered full time employment with one of our client companies, you may be hired directly or you must complete thirty (30) working days there as a Durkee employee unless otherwise arranged.
